Born in Tarsus, Mersin, in 1976, Severoğlu completed his primary and secondary education at Özel Çağ College in 1995, after which he graduated from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, USA, with a degree in Citrus Engineering and Marketing. In 2013, he earned a master's degree in Business at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Severoğlu began his professional career as an HB Fuller marketing coordinator at HESCO Citrus Cooperative in Waverly, Florida, USA. After working there for five years, he returned to Turkey, where he served as a regional sales manager at Seçil Rubber, and then worked as a general manager in Belgium for five years. In 2013, after taking on the role of sales and marketing director at Mandalin Ziraat in Adana, he became the manager of Regus Adana. Between 2016 and 2018, he represented Carlisle Construction Materials as the sales and marketing representative for Turkey and the Middle East. In 2018, Yunus Emre Severoğlu founded MZ Agriculture and Construction Company, and he continues to sign significant projects in irrigation and roof insulation in Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Romania.
