Ethen Propylene Diene (EPDM) is a type of synthetic rubber that is frequently used in many applications such as roof coverings, seals, and hoses. EPDM exhibits excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and weather conditions, making it ideal for outdoor use. It also has good chemical resistance, electrical insulation properties, and can maintain its elasticity over a wide temperature range. These characteristics make EPDM a popular choice for industrial and construction applications. EPDM is especially popular for roof coverings because it shows excellent resistance to weather and is not affected by UV light. It is also resistant to water, acids, alkalis, vegetable oils, and other chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Because EPDM has a wide temperature range, it can retain its flexibility even at high temperatures or in cold. This facilitates EPDM’s ability to accommodate the contractile movements of metal and other materials. EPDM also shows good electrical insulation properties, making it suitable for use in applications such as electrical wiring. EPDM is a material frequently chosen for construction and industrial applications because it is durable, long‑lasting, and easily processed. EPDM can be used in many applications such as hoses, seals, water and air sealing tapes, solar power plants, and water level control devices. EPDM Membrane, made from polyvinyl chloride, is a geomembrane material that provides water impermeability in roof, pond, and tunnel projects. It is produced as chemically resistant, UV‑resistant, or signal‑layered specifically developed for applications in different projects.

Packaging and Storage

Materials are delivered in rolls 1.6 – 2.1 m wide and 20 – 25 m long.
Materials should be stored on flat ground and in a closed area. Stored products should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat, and ignition sources. If PVC‑covered rolls need to be stored outdoors for a long time, they should be covered to protect them from sunlight. Smoking is not allowed in the storage area.
