High‑Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a widely used polymer material that is employed in a variety of applications, especially in industrial and everyday products such as water distribution, waste management, and plastic bags. Because HDPE has a higher density than other types of polyethylene, it is more durable. It resists chemicals, UV light, water, and impacts, and it also offers good mechanical strength and flexibility. HDPE is particularly suitable for water distribution because it prevents degradation caused by microorganisms or chemicals and blocks water passage. It is also commonly used in waste management, as durable, lightweight, and easily spillable plastic bags and containers can be produced for storing and transporting waste materials. HDPE is used in many other applications, including plastic bags, PET bottles, slides, playgrounds, mining, and the oil industry. In conclusion, HDPE is a safe, durable, easy‑to‑process, and inexpensive polymer material that is frequently chosen for the production of various industrial and everyday products. The HDPE membrane, made from high‑density polyethylene, is a geomembrane material that provides impermeability in projects such as regular solid waste storage sites, mine waste storage sites, acid ponds, tank sites, ponds, and irrigation channels. Thanks to the special resin blended with antioxidants and carbon black used in its production, it is manufactured to be resistant to chemical, biological, mechanical effects, and UV.

Applications and Use Cases

HDPE Membrane can be used quickly and safely in large‑area projects that require resistance to chemical, biological, mechanical effects and UV, thanks to its large roll sizes. It is used in the following areas.

Regular solid waste storage sites, Mining waste storage sites, Acid ponds, Tank sites, Wastewater treatment plants, Irrigation channels, Pond projects

Advantages

It is long‑lasting thanks to its special resin containing antioxidants and carbon black.

It has high strength and elongation values.

It is resistant to chemical effects.

It has high UV resistance thanks to carbon black.

It allows testing of additional sites, air‑pressure stripping and peeling tests thanks to a special welding method.

The large roll sizes make the application fast and practical in large‑area projects.

It can also be applied in high‑slope areas with products that are either single‑ or double‑sided rough.

Lower‑density materials (LLDPE, VLDPE) can also be produced for different application usage options.

Packaging and Storage

Materials are delivered in rolls 6 m wide and 100–200 m long.

Materials should be stored on a flat surface. Stored products should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources. If rolls need to be stored exposed to the open air, they should be covered to protect them from sunlight. Smoking is not allowed in the storage area.
